Sausage Rusk is a zwieback-like baked product without any added yeast. By adding water, it is added crumbly to the egg food or even the germ feed in the swollen state. For color canaries, cardinals or carduelids, it is advisable to use dyes such as Mix carotene, canthaxantine or carophyll red directly under Sausage Rusk, as it swells immediately when swollen and thus guarantees an ideal intake for all color birds.
